Color complements

Top  Previous  Next

This function allows to locate color schemes best complementing your selected formula. It's designed to help selecting color combinations to paint houses or interiors (walls, trims etc).

Color complements can be located in all the products and fandecks available in the database so, for example, an enamel product can be selected to complement a water based wall paint or vice-versa.

Original color

By default this function shows as original color the one of the last selected formula. If the last selected formula does not contain color data a measure or manual entry will be required.

It is possible at any moment to insert a new color data using an instrument or by manual entry.

Find color complements

To get color complements is very simple and involves few mouse clicks or keyboard entries:

Step 1 - Select from the lists located on the left side of the page the desired database/product/fandeck. Each item can be selected double-clicking on it, pressing the ENTER key or the "Confirm" button.

Step 2 - Once a selection has been done, the software automatically searches for the best color complements and display a list of the the best available choices. Select the desired color from the bottom list or click on each complements' swatch on the left of the original tint.

Step 3 - Once a specific color is selected (double clicking on it, pressing the ENTER key or pressing the retrieve button), all color and formula data will be transferred to the application main page .
